Applications at the moment are open for the 2026 AIG Public Leaders Programme (AIG PLP). The AIG Public Leaders Programme (AIG PLP) is a flagship management capability constructing initiative designed to equip public sector leaders throughout Africa with the capabilities required to steer efficient change. Delivered in partnership with the University of Oxford’s Blavatnik School of Government, the programme affords immersive, world-class government schooling expertise.
The programme is designed to make sure that public sector leaders quickly purchase essential management, coverage, and administration abilities. Participants are geared up with sturdy conceptual frameworks and sensible instruments to successfully navigate the complexities of the public establishments through which they function, and to steer successfully inside more and more dynamic and evolving governance contexts.
The expertise is intensive and extremely interactive, combining faculty-led discussions with sensible workout routines, simulations, and collaborative group work. Through this method, the programme develops the capability of members to foster cultures of excellence, effectiveness, and integrity throughout the public establishments they lead, producing measurable advantages for their organisations and for nationwide improvement.

Eligibility Requirements
- Be residents of any English-speaking African nation and actively working throughout the public sector in Africa
- Have a minimal of seven years of working expertise.
- Be at Grade-level 13 and above
- Age: 35-54 years outdated

- May 2026: Stage 1 – Computer-Based Tests
- 4th week May 2026: Stage 2 – Essays Submission
- third week of June 2026: Stage 3 – Video Interview
