Capital City of Podgorica Scholarship to Attend the One Young World Summit 2026 (Fully-funded) – YOA

Applications are open for the Capital City of Podgorica Scholarship 2026. One of Europe’s youngest capitals, Podgorica has just lately been named European Youth Capital 2028, marking its dedication to youth participation, inclusion and neighborhood connection. 

One Young World is proud to companion with the Capital City of Podgorica to launch the Capital City of Podgorica Scholarship 2026. The Capital City of Podgorica Scholarship will help one distinctive younger chief who resides and making an impression in Podgorica to attend the One Young World Summit 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa, from November 3-6, 2026. 

They are in search of college students, younger professionals, social entrepreneurs, activists, innovators and youth leaders with a willingness to symbolize Podgorica on a world platform. The chosen scholar will display a confirmed file of contributing to constructive change in Podgorica or wider context of Montenegro, to shield the atmosphere, promote youth participation, develop tradition and digital innovation, or promote equality, training or entrepreneurship.

The Capital City of Podgorica scholar will obtain:

• Access to the One Young World Summit 2026, happening from 3 – 6 November in Cape Town, South Africa.
• Access to the One Young World Global Leadership Programme, Action Accelerator and lifelong membership to the One Young World Ambassador Community.
• Hotel lodging, checking in 2 November and trying out 7 November.
• Return journey out of your nation of residence to Cape Town (flights in financial system).
• Catering which incorporates breakfast at the resort lodging and lunch and dinner at the Summit.
• Transport between the Summit lodging and the Summit venue.
• Visa prices, if relevant (together with visa application price and journey required for visa appointment).  

Eligibility

Candidates should:

• Be dwelling and making an impression in the metropolis of Podgorica, Montenegro.
• Be a nationwide of Montenegro.
• Be aged 18 – 30 by the date of the One Young World Summit 2026 in November.
• Have a robust working understanding of and talent to talk in English, as the One Young World Summit will primarily be held in English.
• Be out there to be part of the programme full time between 2 – 7 November, and take part in all necessary classes and a pre-Summit onboarding name.

Selection Criteria

• Proven file of creating constructive change in Podgorica or in the wider context of Montenegro.
• Active engagement in the neighborhood, comparable to via youth work, volunteering, civic engagement or neighborhood initiatives.
• Evidence of distinctive educational, skilled or extracurricular accomplishment.
• Clear articulation of imaginative and prescient for submit-occasion impression, and the way the One Young World expertise could be used to create a measurable impression upon return to Podgorica.
• The means and motivation to symbolize Podgorica on a world platform, and to function a youth ambassador after the Summit.
• Alignment with One Young World mission to create a good, sustainable future for all.
