The World Heritage Decorated Farmhouses of Hälsingland International Scholarship 2026 – YOA

Applications are invited for the World Heritage Decorated Farmhouses of Hälsingland International Scholarship 2026. The Scholarship is aimed for skilled artists, cultural practitioners and researchers who wish to develop an inventive or analysis concept that connects the Decorated Farmhouses of Hälsingland in Sweden to a number of different World Heritage Sites on the UNESCO listing.

The Scholarship is awarded to the applicant who exhibits the clearest, most related and possible method how the Decorated Farmhouses of Hälsingland relate to different World Heritage Sites within the spirit of UNESCO, for instance by means of cultural heritage, conservation, common worth, cultural and data trade.

Scholarship

The scholarship consists of:

• 4-week residency on the World Heritage farms Kristofers in Järvsö or Erik-Anders in Söderala (Sweden)
• A grant of equal 50,000 SEK in scholarship
• Travel to and from Sweden

Eligibility

• The scholarship is worldwide and open to candidates from everywhere in the World.
• Only skilled cultural creators and researchers with expertise can apply.

Applications will likely be accepted from 15 January 2026 – 28 February 2026.
