Are you a passionate younger chief dedicated to neighborhood empowerment and digital inclusion? Join the Movement! Digital OPPORTUNITY Trust (DOT) Rwanda, beneath the Digital Skills for Employability (DSE) program, in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, is proud to announce that functions at the moment are open for the Youth Leadership Program 2026-2027.

The Digital Skills for Employability (DSE) program is a 4-yr transformative initiative contributing to Rwanda’s National Strategy for Transformation (NST2) 2024–2029, Vision 2050, and the Mastercard Foundation’s Young Africa Works technique. The DSE program is applied by a consortium of companions led by DOT Rwanda, in collaboration with Intango Technical Secondary School (TSS), Igire Rwanda Organization (IRO), Knowledge LAB (kLab), and SOLVIT Africa. Together, these companions are dedicated to empowering over 10,000 younger folks in Rwanda, notably younger girls, rural youth, individuals with disabilities, and refugees by offering them with the digital and entrepreneurial expertise wanted to thrive in Rwanda’s digital economic system. 

Through the Beginner Digital and Business Skills, DOT Rwanda will assist younger entrepreneurs and people working necessity-based mostly companies by offering elementary digital literacy, entrepreneurship coaching, and expertise in monetary administration and advertising. Participants will obtain customized teaching, mentorship, and entry to finance and supportive enterprise networks. With a powerful deal with younger girls, this system targets youth who will not be in training or employment and people underemployed, notably in rural areas.

Eligibility

• University or faculty graduate aged 21-35, or secondary faculty graduate aged 21-35 with no less than two years of demonstrated neighborhood engagement expertise.
• Currently not in Education, Employment, or Training (NEET).
• Basic expertise in on-line collaboration and convention instruments (e.g., Google Drive, Zoom).
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Kinyarwanda.
• Passion for neighborhood empowerment, digital inclusion, and gender equality.
• Applicant should be a resident of and dedicated to working in one of many following districts for one yr:
  • City of Kigali: Gasabo, Kicukiro, Nyarugenge
  • Southern Province: Gisagara, Muhanga, Nyamagabe, Ruhango, Nyanza
  • Eastern Province: Bugesera, Gatsibo, Nyagatare, Kirehe, Ngoma
  • Northern Province: Burera, Gakenke, Musanze, Rulindo
  • Western Province: Karongi, Rutsiro, Nyamasheke, Rubavu
