Apply now for the Youth and Environment Europe (YEE) Advocacy Manager place. Youth and Environment Europe (YEE) is wanting for an Advocacy Manager to guide and coordinate its advocacy efforts throughout Europe from March 2026 onwards.

To strengthen the standard, coherence, and impression of its advocacy work, YEE depends on the position of the Advocacy Manager, who coordinates and steers the organisation’s advocacy efforts throughout initiatives, coverage processes, and thematic priorities. The Advocacy Manager ensures that YEE’s positions and actions are values-aligned, proof-knowledgeable, and rooted in youth-led, intersectional approaches to environmental and local weather justice.

Through this position, YEE strengthens coordination with member organisations, companions, and youth constituencies, and enhances the organisation’s engagement in European and worldwide coverage areas to advocate for YEE’s values, reminiscent of youth inclusion in choice-making and formidable environmental safety. The Advocacy Manager performs a key position in translating youth views into concrete advocacy methods, serving to equip younger folks to meaningfully contribute to responses to the triple planetary disaster.

Benefits

• The Advocacy Manager will probably be provided a service contract and be remunerated based on YEE’s inside rules, with a gross month-to-month quantity of €2,251.99 for a complete of 25h/week.

Eligibility

They are wanting for candidates who:

• Are deeply dedicated to environmental advocacy, youth empowerment and social justice;
• Have earlier expertise in youth advocacy and coverage engagement;
• Are assured in skilled and public communication settings;
• Can suppose strategically and translate priorities into actionable plans;
• Are extremely organised and capable of coordinate a number of initiatives concurrently;
• Work properly each independently and in a staff, fostering collaboration throughout departments;
• Show creativity and openness to progressive strategies and approaches in advocacy (e.g., artivism);
• Maintain a powerful understanding of European and worldwide coverage processes related to youth and atmosphere;
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and inclusivity in working with various youth and stakeholders;
• Have the flexibility to analyse coverage developments critically and advise on acceptable advocacy responses.

Essential Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication expertise in English.
• Are a resident in Europe, ideally already with an EU working allow.
• Are youthful than 35 years of age by the top of the contract interval.
• Be aligned with YEE’s core values and mission.

Application

The Advocacy Manager mandate begins on 1 March 2026 and ends on 31 December 2026 (with chance of renewal pending funding availability), with a 2-month provisional interval. In preparation for the beginning of the mandate, the Advocacy Manager will probably be invited to a primary onboarding assembly in late February 2026.
