Applications at the moment are open for the Mastercard Foundation/University of Cambridge Climate Resilience and Sustainability Research Fund. The Mastercard Foundation and University of Cambridge Climate Resilience and Sustainability Research Fund goals to catalyse new and strengthen present collaborations between researchers in Africa and Cambridge and assist prime quality coaching actions. The focus of the scheme is analysis on local weather resilience and sustainability. 

This focus is interpreted broadly as long as the linkage of the analysis to those areas could be justified within the application for the award.  Awards are made to pairs of researchers (post-doctoral degree and above though due consideration shall be given for equal expertise), one from an African college or analysis establishment and one from the University of Cambridge.

Award Available

  • In this spherical, purposes can solely be made for a Research Catalyst Grant for as much as £20,000 or a Workshop Grant for as much as £50,000. We don’t cowl salaries of both PI, overheads or grant administration prices.

Application
The Cambridge-based Principal Investigator should register and full a savable on-line
application kind, out there on the Cambridge-Africa web site. Final submissions ought to embody
the next paperwork:

  • Case for assist, together with particulars of how the collaboration is predicted to work

  • A lay abstract
  • A letter of assist from the division/school of the Cambridge-based PI. (For the
