Applications are open for the MIT Climate and Energy Prize 2025-2026. The MIT Climate & Energy Prize competitors seeks to maneuver the world nearer to internet zero carbon emissions by empowering formidable entrepreneurs to unravel the world’s most tough local weather-associated challenges.

Prize

• Each 12 months, groups of scholars from around the globe compete for greater than $100,000 in non-dilutive cash prizes.

Eligibility

• Open to all college college students everywhere in the world (not solely MIT college students).
• A staff have to be comprised of at the least two people. 
• At least 50% of formal staff members have to be enrolled as a part-time or full-time pupil or be a postdoctoral fellow at a university or college, with commencement in December 2025 or later.

Application

This application gathers data on the startup, the startup’s motivating drawback, proposed resolution, core product, and commercialization, and every particular person staff member.
