Applications at the moment are open for the 2027/2029 Jacobs CIFAR Research Fellowship. The Jacobs Foundation is happy to announce the 2027-2029 Call for Applications for the Jacobs CIFAR Research Fellowship, a partnership between the Jacobs Foundation and the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR).

This globally aggressive program helps early- and mid-career researchers whose work advances understanding of how youngsters and youth study and develop throughout contexts and programs. Fellowships are awarded to extremely proficient and progressive students who’ve obtained their PhD throughout the previous 10 years and who display the potential to bridge disciplines and join analysis to observe and coverage.

Target Group

  • Highly proficient early profession researchers. The supreme candidate has obtained his/her PhD or equal diploma throughout the previous 10 years.

Eligibility Requirements

The supreme candidate

  • has obtained his/her PhD or equal diploma throughout the previous 10 years;
  • is employed at an establishment of upper schooling or analysis institute;
  • is conducting high-quality analysis in an space extremely aligned with early schooling and studying variability;
  • is dedicated to partaking with the Jacobs CIFAR Research Fellowship Network.
