Shiraka Training Program: Social Affairs and Employment

Who Can Apply?

• Civil servants working in social affairs and employment.
• Applicants should be from one of many following goal international locations:

• Required expertise: 5 to 10 years of related skilled work.
• Applicants should not have beforehand participated in one other Shiraka coaching programme.

Course Goals

• Increase information of theories and ideas in social affairs and employment coverage.

• Employment and the casual sector.
• Inclusive labour markets.
• Multi-level governance in social affairs and employment.
• The function of native actors in employment coverage.
• Youth unemployment and linking training to labour market wants.
• Labour rights and social dialogue.
• Developing Back Home Action Plans (BHAPs) to implement classes realized.

Course Details

• Language: English (intermediate stage really helpful).
• Interpretation: Live interpretation accessible in Arabic and/or French.
• Participants: Limited to 25 individuals, chosen primarily based on application high quality.
• Duration: 2 weeks (10 working days).
• Format: Combination of study visits, social actions, and blended studying (on-line + offline).

Costs and Responsibilities

For All Participants

• Responsible for journey to the airport of their home nation.
• Responsible for visa preparations of their home nation.

For Participants from OECD-DAC Countries

• Dutch authorities covers:
  • International journey
  • Accommodation
  • Meals throughout coaching days
  • Visa and insurance coverage
  • Tuition charges
• Local journey to worldwide airports exterior the home nation should be self-funded.

For Participants from Non-OECD-DAC Countries

Cancellation Policy
