Applications are open for the NAEng Innovation Competition 2026. Application

The submissions can be within the following two (2) Stages:

Stage 1: Submission of Concept Note – Prospective contributors are to submit Concept Notes of their improvements by Friday, December 19, 2025. The Concept Notes ought to embody the next:

• Brief description of the innovation and the actual drawback(s) that it addresses or solves.
• Societal and financial advantages of the innovation.
• Brief description of the engineering processes that it covers.
• Degree of growth of the prototype (how far has it been developed).
• Sketches, pictures, drawings and different illustrations that may support the understanding of the innovation.
• Profiles of the important thing contributors and/or organisations.

Submissions shall not be greater than 20 A4 pages at this stage of the competitors and shall be in pdf format. Submissions for Stage 1 can be screened to evaluate the diploma and degree of innovation, engineering content material, originality, and relevance to nationwide growth. Only contributors who’re shortlisted from Stage 1 will proceed to Stage 2.

Stage 2: Submission of Full Proposal – Participants who’re shortlisted from Stage 1 can be given one (1) month to additional develop their improvements for Stage 2 of the competitors.
