Visiting Fellowship: The Politics of Inequality (2026/27)
The University of Konstanz’s Cluster of Excellence “The Politics of Inequality” invites purposes for its Visiting Fellowship Programme for the 2026/27 tutorial 12 months. The Cluster brings collectively researchers from political science, sociology, economics, linguistics, and associated fields to study the causes and penalties of inequality — and the way these inequalities are perceived, mobilised, and addressed by political actors.
This fellowship helps worldwide students who wish to advance new analysis on inequality whereas participating with the Cluster’s vibrant, interdisciplinary neighborhood.

Funding and Support
Each chosen Visiting Fellow will obtain:
€6,000 per 30 days for residing and lodging prices
Up to €1,500 per 30 days in analysis funds (for conferences, analysis assistants, fieldwork, and so forth.)
Relocation assist for journey to and from Konstanz (with limits)
Fellows are anticipated to stay in Konstanz for the complete period of their keep and actively take part in Cluster occasions.
Expectations
During the fellowship, students will:
Take part within the Cluster’s actions and seminars
Present their work within the public In_equality Colloquium
Share suggestions and experience with early-career researchers
Carry out an impartial analysis mission aligned with the Cluster’s themes
