IYBA- WE4A Entrepreneurship Programme 2026 (up to $5,000)

Applications are open for the IYBA- WE4A Entrepreneurship Programme 2026. The programme goals to empower girls entrepreneurs in Sub-Saharan Africa by enhancing their entry to finance and enterprise data. It focuses on inexperienced companies and seeks to drive financial inclusion, job creation, and sustainable growth.

WE4A (Investing in Young Business in Africa- Women Entrepreneurship for Africa) Entrepreneurship Programme is a programme collectively supported by the European Union (EU), the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and applied by the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF), the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, and the Seedstars Association for Entrepreneurship in Emerging Markets (SAFEEM).

Eligibility

Women entrepreneurs working inexperienced companies (0–5 years previous) within the following international locations are eligible:

  • Senegal
  • Togo
  • Malawi
  • Uganda
  • Cameroon
  • Kenya
  • Mozambique
  • Tanzania.

Application

The IYBA-WE4A Programme shall be delivered in 5 phases:

  • Application Phase
  • Training Phase & Masterclass Sessions
  • Mentorship Programme
  • Business Plan, Financials & Pitch Video Submission
  • Seed Capital Phase
