Media and Information Literacy Training to Counter Hate Speech – Alexandria, Egypt
To mark the International Day Against Hate Speech (June 18), the Ministry of Youth and Sports, UNESCO Regional Office for Egypt and Sudan, and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina are internet hosting a strong 3-day youth coaching camp on Media and Information Literacy (MIL).
This hands-on program empowers youth to use digital instruments and crucial considering to fight hate speech, disinformation, and discrimination on-line—whereas additionally selling digital inclusion, gender equality, and peaceable intercultural communication.
