UpTide is a novel nonprofit accelerator designed to assist community-building organizations scale their affect and enhance their sustainability. Developed by the Belfer Center for Innovation & Social Impact at 92NY, this hybrid program combines knowledgeable steerage, strategic planning, and high-value networking to propel nonprofit leaders to the subsequent degree.

UpTide helps a cohort of 5 Executive Directors / Presidents / CEOs from numerous, community-focused nonprofits. This program is designed for leaders able to considerably scale their group’s affect.

To accommodate leaders nationwide, all classes in 2025 are held nearly, culminating in a week of in-person programming in New York City in January 2026.

Program Benefits

Participants within the UpTide accelerator will obtain:

• $5,000 unrestricted grant upon finishing this system

• Board engagement session for two board members with 92NY specialists

• Tailored workshops addressing the distinctive challenges of community-building organizations

• 1:1 mentorship and training with sector leaders

• Ongoing community entry to friends, mentors, and trade leaders

• Alumni community and useful resource entry by means of SEED SPOT

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for UpTide, you need to meet the next necessities:

Individual Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older

• Must maintain a full-time position as Executive Director, President, or CEO

• Must be main a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit group in good standing

Organizational Requirements:

• Have a mission and programming that deal with the Crisis of Community—the rising social disconnection on the root of many societal points

• Serve a minimum of 500 individuals straight or a significant proportion of your goal neighborhood

• Must have applied a minimum of one confirmed intervention with one yr of optimistic affect knowledge

• Operate a replicable mannequin that is able to scale

Time Commitment

To be eligible for the $5,000 unrestricted grant, individuals should absolutely have interaction in:

• All digital classes (Sept 2025 – Jan 2026)

• The full NYC Week in January 2026

• Showcase Day presentation
