Applications are actually open for the 2025 WTO-ITC Women Exporters in the Digital Economy (WEIDE) Fund. The Women Exporters in the Digital Economy (WEIDE) Fund, launched by the WTO and the ITC in February 2024, goals to empower girls entrepreneurs by serving to them develop their companies by means of worldwide commerce and digitalization.
The USD 50 million WEIDE Fund will unlock Opportunities in worldwide commerce and digital commerce for girls entrepreneurs by bettering their entry to:
- networks and help companies, with the goal of making extra inclusive and efficient enterprise ecosystems together with leveraging partnerships with the personal and public sectors.
- grants and help from monetary establishments to cut back the finance hole
- technical help and coaching associated to digital abilities and bettering export competitiveness
- export markets, with the intention of connecting extra girls to digital market platforms
Target Beneficiaries
The focused beneficiaries are:
- women-led MSMEs in the formal sector that are already exporting or that are prepared to start out exporting
- women-led, micro and small enterprises in the formal sector with export potential.
Application Timeline:
- 22 April to 18 May 2025 — Call for functions from women-led MSMEs launch in the Dominican Republic, Mongolia and Nigeria
- June 2025 — Selection of winners
