Apply now for the SME Growth Exporter Programme is an 18-month intensive enterprise growth initiative supporting Black-owned South African SMEs that export items. Delivered in partnership with FNB, the programme offers entry to expertise, markets, and funding to speed up export progress and long-term sustainability.

Key Focus Areas

1. Access to Skills

• Practical enterprise and export coaching

• One-on-one mentorship (General Business Mentor & Export Product Mentor)

• Specialist help by means of in-person boot camps, professional periods, and customized progress initiatives

2. Access to Market

• Market-specific product alignment and certification

• Pre-trade present and gross sales help

• Direct market entry and commerce facilitation

• Market readiness steerage and third-party collaboration

3. Access to Funding

• Tailored funding assessments and readiness help

• Opportunity to apply for in-house funding options

• Access to ESD-aligned monetary help and advisory providers

Programme Structure

Who Should Apply

Eligible SMEs should:

• Be 51% Black-owned

• Have a most annual turnover of R40 million

• Export or manufacture merchandise in a number of of the next sectors:

  • Food (processed and recent produce)

  • Beverages (alcoholic & non-alcoholic)

  • Ready-to-wear (attire, jewelry)

  • Home items (leather-based, gifting, décor)

  • Non-prescription well being (magnificence, wellness, OTC merchandise)

• Have no less than 3 months’ working capital

• Be tax compliant and not underneath authorized or rescue proceedings

Application Requirements
