Applications are open for the Digital ChangeMakers for Women Entrepreneurs. This application is meant for early-stage innovators with a gender-responsive focus who’re able to develop and check digital options tailor-made to women-led micro-enterprises in Ghana’s casual sector. Programme Objective
To assist the ideation and incubation of user-centered digital improvements that deal with the expansion and operational challenges of casual, women-led micro-enterprises in goal areas. Selected people or groups will obtain assist to develop their concepts into useful prototypes.
Eligibility Criteria
Open to early-stage innovators, startups, and groups
Applicants have to be based mostly in and working in one of many following areas:
Ashanti, Eastern, Northern, North-East, Upper East, Upper WestMinimum age: 18 years
Women and individuals with disabilities are strongly inspired to apply
Staff of GIZ, GFA, and chosen intermediaries should not eligible
Programme Activities
1. Ideation Workshops – June 2025
2. Incubation Phase – August to December 2025
Shortlisted innovators can be paired with regional innovation hubs
Receive tailor-made assist: mentorship, software program improvement, UI/UX design, and so on.
3. Final Pitching Event – Early 2026
Top-performing groups from the incubation part will pitch their prototypes
Top 3 groups will obtain a share of €10,000 in prizes for additional improvement
