ISETS-ESCAP Youth Voice on Energy Transition 2025 – Global Competition for Young Changemakers

The Youth Voice on Energy Transition Program 2025 is organized by the International Society for Energy Transition Studies (ISETS) in collaboration with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP). This international initiative empowers youth to have interaction in essential discussions across the clear power transition and contribute actionable options.

The program goals to amplify younger voices within the combat in opposition to local weather change by inviting youth to submit concepts, initiatives, applied sciences, or coverage frameworks that speed up a simply and sustainable shift to renewable power. What the Program Offers

The program consists of two key parts:

• Global Youth Voice Competition – the place youth submit options associated to power transition

• Youth Dialogue at ESCAP Headquarters in Bangkok, Thailand – a discussion board for dialogue with power consultants and policymakers

Competition Structure

• Participants submit a written proposal by way of the ISETS portal

• Selected finalists will submit a video presentation

• Entries are grouped by UN regional divisions

• All submissions have to be in English and comply with the official template

• Winning groups are invited to the Youth Dialogue and international ultimate in Bangkok

Tracks

Applicants select one of many following:

• Science, Technology, and Engineering Track: Solutions centered on merchandise, frameworks, innovations, or engineering that promote renewable power and innovation

• Social Science and Other Disciplines Track: Submissions associated to coverage, economics, finance, schooling, or communication methods supporting the power transition

Who Can Apply

• Open to youth aged 18 to 30 (born between January 1, 1995, and December 31, 2007)

• Individuals or groups of as much as 4 members

• All members should register as ISETS affiliate members and be part of the ISETS Youth Group

• Submissions have to be unique and never beforehand awarded on this competitors

Key Dates

• 1 April 2025 – Submissions open

• 30 April 2025 – Written proposal deadline

• 31 May 2025 – Finalists introduced

• 15 June 2025 – Video submission deadline

• 15 July 2025 – Divisional winners introduced

• 1–5 September 2025 – Global finals and Youth Dialogue in Bangkok
