About the Program
The Emerging Leaders Network is a nationwide initiative designed to coach and help rising group activists who’re working to advance reproductive well being, rights, and justice. - A collaborative curriculum centered on motion technique, political schooling, and management growth
This new construction is rooted within the perception that lasting change is constructed via ongoing group, collaboration, and care.

- Have just a few years of group organizing expertise

We consider that management can emerge at any stage of life, and we welcome candidates of all ages, backgrounds, and geographies. For the 2025–2026 cohort, we’re particularly encouraging place-based organizers—notably these from rural and small-town communities—to apply.
Program Legacy
Since 1999, this initiative has supported over 1,000 activists from 275 organizations in strengthening advocacy abilities, constructing networks, and growing strategic approaches to justice work. Alumni embody current graduates, new leaders at advocacy organizations, rising administrators of grassroots teams, and seasoned organizers trying to deepen their affect.
As Paris Hatcher, founding father of Black Feminist Future, shares:
“What makes CLPP unique is its intentionality around leadership development – they’re creating a space for both new and experienced leaders with a focus on skill building and issues. It’s a rite of passage – all movement leaders have been through CLPP’s programs.”
