Applications are open for the GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize Competition 2025. The 2025 GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize launches its seventh annual competitors in seek for Africa’s most promising younger co-founders and founders throughout Africa who’ve launched companies throughout Africa’s agrifood worth chain “from seed to fork”.

The GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize Competition is an integral part of the Africa Food Systems Forum (AFSF), the world’s premier discussion board for African agriculture and meals techniques, bringing collectively stakeholders to take sensible motion and share classes that may empower Africa’s younger leaders for meals techniques transformation. 

With the 2025 AFSF theme “Africa’s Youth: Leading Collaboration, Innovation and Implementation of Agri-Food Systems Transformation,” the GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize competitors is ready to empower youth entrepreneurs from throughout West, Northern, Southern, Central, and Eastern Africa who trying to showcase, develop, and scale, their agrifood companies.

Prizes

• Two grand prizes of US$50,000 every can be awarded to essentially the most excellent female and male-led agribusinesses. An extra US$60,000 in Impact Awards will acknowledge companies excelling in key areas reminiscent of expertise, innovation, diet, meals safety, bettering rural livelihoods, local weather resilience, gender fairness, pure useful resource conservation, and job creation. 

Eligibility

GoGettaz invites younger African agripreneurs throughout the continent to hitch the GoGettaz vibrant neighborhood and take part within the 2025 GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize Competition. Eligible candidates should :

• Be 35 or youthful on the time of submission.
• Be a citizen of an African Union member nation.
• Serve as a founder or co-founding father of a legally registered enterprise working in Africa (ventures should be registered by 10 June 2025).
