Selection Criteria

We’re looking for younger girls ages 13-21, based mostly primarily within the DC/MD/VA space, with a robust curiosity in worldwide affairs.

• Candidates outdoors the DC space can also apply.
• Delegates are accountable for their very own transportation and lodging throughout this system.
• Cost: There’s no charge to apply or take part in this system.

Our Mission

The Madam Ambassador Program exists to handle the variety challenges within the U.S. workforce and worldwide affairs fields by making ready and exposing numerous college students to profession paths in international service and international management.

Since its launch in January 2023, this initiative has empowered younger girls ages 13-21 with expertise, experiences, and networks to thrive in worldwide affairs.

Why It Matters

The lack of funding for variety packages places initiatives like Madam Ambassador in danger, but our dedication stays sturdy. Through impactful studying experiences, we purpose to construct a pipeline of numerous expertise prepared to steer in international diplomacy.

Program Learning Objectives

Participants of the Madam Ambassador Program will:

• Gain management insights from U.S. and worldwide ambassadors.
• Explore worldwide profession paths, etiquette, apparel, and cultural understanding.
• Learn about democratic establishments and their pillars.
• Engage with leaders on the U.S. Department of State and different key businesses.
• Develop S.M.A.R.T. methods for educational, profession, and private targets.
• Build expertise in private branding, networking, and crafting an elevator pitch.
