If you have an amazing project, this is the innovation challenge for you.
Ingenious+, which is available to Canadian youth aged 14 to 18, offers a $1,000 (or greater!) prize along with mentorship and educational opportunities to foster your innovative spirit. (Ingenious+, a nationwide youth innovation competition with a strong regional and community focus, is powered by the Rideau Hall Foundation. Giving children between the ages of 14 and 18 the chance to create for the better and share their approaches to solving issues at home, in Canada, and globally is the aim.
Ingenious+ provides financial assistance, educational opportunities, and mentorship from prominent Canadian inventors to young innovators so they may begin bringing their ideas to life!
Making an impact by doing things better is what innovation is all about. This includes making new things that solve problems or enhance the world, as well as enhancing existing goods, services, or procedures. Young innovators creating solutions at the community and beyond are supported by Ingenious+. Themes for this year are:
- Community and Civic Engagement
- Climate Change and the Environment
- Equity and Inclusion
- Health and Well-being
- Technology and Entrepreneurship

How does it Work ?
- If your idea is eligible, you could receive a Regional $1,000 award plus access to networking, mentorship, and other learning opportunities.
- Eligible ideas can also be considered for up to 13 National Finalist awards in their region (an additional $1,000) or five $10,000 National Awards in each category.
- Your journey with Ingenious+ is just beginning, and the possibilities are endless. Submit your idea between October 17th 2023 and February 22nd 2024!
