Supporting innovative solutions
The Fit for Life Foundation gives grants of up to EUR 100,000 year to three or four non-profit organizations or social entrepreneurs that are leading the way in innovative programs that support health, mobility, and lifelong fitness in aging communities worldwide.
The Fit for Life Awards give creative, significant projects that enhance lifelong fitness and health in aging communities across the globe recognition and multi-year funding.
To make it easier to track and assess the effectiveness and impact of the project, grants are distributed over a three-year period.
With the help of this multi-year funding, Laureates are able to gradually expand their initiatives and raise public awareness of the value of healthy aging for communities.
At an annual awards ceremony held in Geneva, Switzerland, the Fit for Life ambassadors, sponsors, and partner organizations are present to hear the announcement of the Fit for Life Laureates.

ELIGIBILITY
Types of organizations
To apply for the Fit for Life Awards, applicants must meet the following criteria:Â
- The organization or initiative must be legally registered as a non-profit or social enterprise in its country/countries of operations.Â
- We do not accept applications from the following types of organizations:
- Research institutes
- Government/public sector institutes
- Political organizations
- Organizations that discriminate in their leadership, staffing, or service provision on the basis of age, gender, race, ethnicity, disability, national origin, political affiliation, religious belief or sexual orientation.
We welcome applications from organizations all around the world.

Application
The purpose of the application form is to better get to know you. You will be asked to fill out a questionnaire with all the details we require in order to determine whether you are qualified to be one of our Laureates.

Nomination
Do you know an organization (social enterprise, non-profit) or initiative that directly addresses healthy aging for older (age 65+) or middle-aged people (age 40+)?
If yes, please fill out our nomination form. Nominated organizations are assessed according to our selection criteria and the most suitable candidates will be invited to apply.
