VSBfonds awards grants annually to graduating students who wish to study abroad after their study programme. It is not possible to use this grant for an internship or research project. You personally choose the educational institute abroad and arrange for your admission. The educational institute where you will study must be accredited by that country’s government. If that is not the case, you must demonstrate that the quality of the institute and study programme you have chosen meet the Dutch standards for higher education.

5. FAMILY BANK SCHOLARSHIPS

Family Group Foundation will spend KES 30 million on scholarships for students from needy backgrounds joining form 1 this year.

The funds, channelled through the Family Group Foundation 2021 High School Scholarship Program, will benefit more than 100 students in 11 counties who are transitioning from primary to secondary school having received their KCPE exams results. APPLICATION FORM

6. GALANA ENERGIES SCHOLARSHIP | SCHOLARSHIPS IN KENYA

Galana Energies Limited is awarding Form 1 scholarships to top performing Kenyan students from needy and deserving backgrounds to support their secondary school education.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA GALANA ENERGIES SCHOLARSHIPS
  • Have a 2023 KCPE result slip
  • Have attained a minimum of 390 marks
  • Have been admitted to a national or extra-county school

7. KTDA NATIONAL TEA SCHOLARSHIPS

The KTDA National Tea Scholarship is a programme run by the KTDA Foundation to improve access to secondary education
for bright and financially challenged students and to enhance the quality of education and lifelong learning.
KTDA Foundation has so far sponsored 1092 students through secondary school.
To be eligible for consideration, the applicant must:
a. Be a Kenyan citizen.
b. Have sat for the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (K.C.P.E) examination in 2022 in a public primary school that is
recognized by the Ministry of Education in Kenya and obtained a minimum of 350 marks and above.
c. Be from a needy family.
d. Be from any of the 71 KTDA-managed tea factory catchment areas.
e. Fill all the relevant sections and provide supporting evidence where applicable (e.g proof of income, death certificate etc.) APPLICATION FORM

8. IMARIKA SCHOLARSHIPS FOR YOUNG KENYANS
