The Cartier Women’s Initiative regional awards application is available for download on the internet. In order to qualify, you must provide proof that your company is operated or controlled by women and that its goal is to have a significant, long-lasting influence on the environment or society. Grant applications for 2023 will be accepted from May 16, 2022, to July 15, 2022.

Additionally, qualified grant applicants must:

  • possess or manage for-profit companies
  • be in the formative years, ranging from one to five years.

A partnership between Visa and IFundWomen, the Visa Global She’s Next Grant Program aims to provide women-owned small companies worldwide with access to capital and training. Up to now, the initiative has awarded 149 company and 159 coaching grants totaling $1.6 million to women entrepreneurs.

15. CRUCIAL FUN

To “bridge the gap in venture capital funding for women of color founders building scalable, growth aggressive companies” is the stated goal of the Fearless Fund. With pride, Fearless Fund was created by women of color, for women of color. The Fund provides grants for women through the following programs:

  • Fearless Strivers award Contest: In partnership with Mastercard, this award provides $10,000 grants and digital tools to Black women-owned small businesses nationwide to help them launch and grow their businesses online. For this grant, there is a rolling deadline.
  • Ladies of Color Grant Initiative: Established in partnership with the Tory Burch Foundation and Goldman Sachs’ One Million Black Women investment project, the program granted $10,000–$20,000 in funding to 150 small businesses.

16. DREAM BIG AWARD

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce presents the Dream Big Awards to honor and recognize the top small businesses in the country. A $25,000 cash reward, a one-year Chamber of Commerce membership, a promotional video about their company shown during the awards event, and a feature story in CO magazine are all awarded to the Dream Big Small Business of the Year winner. Eight more prizes are available, including the Community Support and Leadership Award, the Minority-Owned Business Achievement Award, the LGBTQ-Owned Business Achievement Award, and the Woman-Owned Business Achievement Award.

In order to be eligible, candidates must be for-profit companies that have been in operation for at least a year, mostly in the United States, and that have employed less than 250 people or had gross revenues of less than $20 million in each of the preceding two years.
