It focuses on essential business, leadership, and digital skills that are applicable to a variety of professions and industries. Forward is provided in a virtual, interactive style. It starts with examining fundamental abilities and then applies them to case studies that are based on actual situations. Eligibility
You need to fulfil the following requirements in order to access Forward:
- Live in any country in Africa; be employed, self-employed, or between jobs;
- Have less than five years of work experience overall, or more than five years of work experience but have never been in charge of directly supervising any coworkers;
- Have at least a secondary education or high school degree;
- Have a strong command of the English language, as the programme will be conducted in that language.
Base level: eight weeks
- Learn essential, useful skills through self-paced, highly engaging online courses. You will learn about problem-solving techniques, effective communication, adaptability, new methods of operating in a digital environment, and more.
Level of expertise: 11 weeks
- Experience an interactive journey filled with cutting-edge digital content, customised virtual courses, and assignments to see your newly acquired abilities come to life.
Network: Continuous
- Gain unique access to additional learning and networking opportunities by joining a thriving international network of young people who are lifelong learners. By participating in various volunteer opportunities, you may further contribute to the Forward programme and pay it forward by helping to shape its future.
