With the assistance of the EIT, the biggest innovation ecosystem in Europe, SUPERNOVAS Women Investors Community (WIN) is where female investors (both in venture capital and business angels) gather to learn and develop professionally, access investment opportunities in female-led startups, and widen their networks.

If you are a woman working in venture capital, check out the forums and the VC Academy.
Check out the Business Angel Academy and the investment forums if you identify as a female business angel or aspire to do so.
Check the investment forums if you work for a startup where the founders or leaders are women.
Through the following initiatives, Supernovas WIN enables female investors to enter and develop in the ecosystem, giving them access to the best female-led dealflow:

WIN Investment Academy offers two different sorts of investors online training courses:
Female business angels, both fresh and seasoned, from the WIN Business Angel Academy
WIN Venture Capital Academy: junior and senior level female venture capital professionals.
Agritech, health, manufacturing, and urban mobility firms with the most innovative leadership will be showcased at WIN Investment forums, which are gatherings for investors.
WIN By networking, a community of female investors is being created where they may share knowledge, coinvest, and explore for new forms of cooperation.

WIN: Why?

  • There aren’t many women in high roles investing in venture capital in Europe. They want to see more women invest successfully and write cheques.
  • Due in part to the lack of female investors, which could lead to deliberate or unconscious biases, the proportion of capital attracted by female-led firms is significantly lower than their participation in the ecosystem.
  • Decisions on investments and innovation are more varied and effective in an ecosystem with a greater gender balance.
  • In this perspective, WIN intends to: Increase the number of women investors in Europe (assist women invest successfully, advance in their careers, and take on senior roles);
  • establishing connections between female entrepreneurs and investors to investigate investment options.
