Benefits
The following may be included in the benefits provided to rise global winners.
RENTERS’ SUMMIT
- One fully sponsored residential in-person conference with fellow Rise Global Winner cohort members. To continue as a Global Winner, you must attend this summit.
SCHOLARSHIPS FOR HIGHER EDUCATION
- A four-year scholarship for post-secondary study that covers tuition and living expenses and is based on need and available funds.
IDEAS SHOULD BE FUNDED IN A COMPETITIVE MANNER
- Possibility to apply for financing to test out novel solutions to significant issues in local communities or throughout the world, such as seed money to launch a social company or a grant for a non-profit. Funds will be made available to Winners and Finalists on a competitive basis.
ASSIGNMENT MATCHING
- Access to career development programmes that is predominantly offered through technology (via our matching platform), as well as a network of other Global Winners, community members, and partner organisations.
TECHNOLOGY STARTER PACKAGES
- Before or during the first semester or term of post-secondary study, a technology package, such as a laptop or tablet, will be decided upon and issued.
- As new opportunities become available from year to year, specific perks will change. Depending on demand and budget, the programme may offer Winners and other participants extra perks and services. These might include the chance to apply for graduate school scholarships, access to partner opportunities (like a database that connects community members to other scholarship programmes), and additional gatherings—virtual or actual—for network members to collaborate on topics of interest (like AI).
Eligibility
- As of July 1, 2024, applicants for the 2024 cohort must be between the ages of 15 and 17, which means they must have been born on or between July 2, 2006, and July 1, 2009, in order to qualify.
- It makes no difference where in the world you are from or what kind of academic background you have. We want to hear from you whether you are interested in science, invention, technology, art, politics, community organising, or any other field.
- Rise identifies talented young people and offers them opportunities so they can work their entire lives to help others. We are aware that there are additional difficulties that prevent extraordinary people from assisting others throughout their life in addition to financial ones.
Criteria
- The world Winners come from all around the world and exhibit excellence in a variety of fields. Some people might be exceptional in the arts or STEM sectors, while others might have a knack for community service and planning.
The five Rise Traits are displayed by all Rise Global Winners:

Application
- Participants introduce themselves by text or video comments, produce a personal project that showcases their skills and benefits their communities, finish assessments, and peer review the projects of other participants, among other things.
- Following completion of the Rise Challenge, 500 Finalists are chosen by Rise to move on to “Finalist Days,” where they exhibit their motivations, problem-solving skills, and collaboration in a novel interview style.
