The ReSAKSS Data Challenge is starting its fourth iteration with AKADEMIYA2063! By utilising data and other resources on the ReSAKSS website and other digital platforms to produce cutting-edge knowledge products or projects that address Africa’s development concerns, eager data users can demonstrate their innovation and analytical abilities.

The Annual ReSAKSS competition is a four (4) category competition that is open to everyone of Africa, including the diaspora, and encourages participants to use their imagination to create original knowledge, tools, and content. The top entries in the following categories will receive prizes:
The most creative research paper, article, essay, or journal article offering solutions to African concerns. Category 1 – Essays and Reports.
The most inventive infographic, drawing, or video in Category 2 – Visual Arts
The most cutting-edge software and tools are included in Category 3 of IT goods and services.
The most inventive high school project in Category 4 of submissions

eligibility requirements
- Researchers, students in high school and college, graphic designers, IT professionals, analysts, and anyone else in Africa who is passionate about leveraging data available on platforms to communicate and address development concerns faced by Africa are all welcome to participate in the challenge.
- All Africans, both on the continent and outside, are welcome to participate in the challenge.
- All minors must have a parent or legal guardian submit the application on their behalf if they are under the age of 13.
- All players under the age of 18 require parental or guardian consent to take part in this challenge.
- The competition’s administrators reserve the right to confirm a person’s qualification to take part in the challenge.
- Applicants who have won before are not eligible.
