This call is for small grass-roots organisations, such as groups, CBOs, and networks, that are already working on climate change initiatives and would like to expand their efforts and respond quickly to crises, unforeseen circumstances, or new opportunities that could help reverse or combat the effects of climate change.

Therefore, the Next Level Grants Facility (NLGF) is a financing tool developed as part of the Voices for Just Climate Action (VCA) programme that aims to promote a bottom-up approach to decision-making, where communities and local actors play a key role in identifying priorities and defining solutions, with a particular focus on including voices that are traditionally excluded.

The Next Level Grants Facility’s (NLGF) purpose
With the objective of immediately responding to environmental and climate problems while showcasing locally-driven initiatives, NLGF is built to support organisations, CBOS, and other CSOs in their work and revolutionise standard grant financing techniques.
