This request aims to address the rising conflicts and support regional efforts to build peace and uphold the rule of law. As well as tackling the underlying causes of violence and fostering societal participation and integration, it aims to encourage innovative and artistic initiatives that contribute to long-term peace and stability in the area. Low Value Grants (LVG) will be given to proposals that are accepted in order to carry out projects in conjunction with neighbourhood stakeholders and communities.

  • Encourage marginalised groups to integrate and respond to their complaints.
  • Boost the traditional and local institutions’ capacity for conflict prevention and peacebuilding.
  • From the standpoint of a community’s livelihood, transfer skills, competencies, and technologies to improve off-farm agriculture capacities.
  • Support Village Saving and Loan Associations (VSLA) with matching funding and technical assistance for developing green businesses in order to scale up climate-resilient livelihoods or act as crisis buffers.
