Prize Specifics

  • The Prize’s 60,000 US dollars in prize money are given out as follows:
  • 30,000 US dollars will be awarded for first place, 20,000 US dollars for second, and 10,000 US dollars for third.

The Underdog Tech Award’s guidelines

  • You are a founder and a C-level executive, okay? Make sure your startup first:
  • Been started within the last five years.
  • Has a current MVP
  • No investments larger than seed ($4 million) have been raised.
  • Has never taken part in any conferences abroad
  • If everything is okay, submit the form and include your PDF presentation.
  • The basics of your startup
  • Why is your new company the underdog?
  • What is the focus of your offering?
  • Marketplace and rivals
  • MVP, plans for product development, economics of the technology unit, and business model
  • Scalability
  • Impact & mission of the team
  • Why do you think you deserve the Prize?
  • Following that, analysts from VC funds will examine and rank all projects using the following criteria:
  • Personal Leadership Capabilities Startup Market Size
  • Scalability
  • Ability to make money
  • One-of-a-kind competitive edge
  • Good product-market fit
  • Market entry strategy
  • Group potential
  • Goal-oriented/social impact
  • Underdog startup: How have you overcame difficulties or disadvantages?
  • Finally, the “impact” criterion will be evaluated by their jury with an emphasis on firms that want to improve people’s lives by addressing injustice.
