In 2020, NACON, a well-known maker of high-end gaming peripherals and the developer of the Compact and Revolution lines of controllers for consoles and PCs, purchased RIG.

The RIG Future Academy Scholarship is designed to help students on their way to academic success.Â

- There will be THREE (3) $5,000 scholarships given out.
Beneficiaries Eligible
- Seniors in high school as well as current undergraduate and graduate citizens of approved U.S. schools and institutions.
Scholarship Request
There are two options for students to apply:
- Essay — Write a 300-word or longer essay discussing how playing video games has aided your academic performance; or
- Create a two-minute video about how gaming has benefited your academic performance, and post it to social media (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Threads, TikTok, or Twitch) using the hashtag #RIGFutureAcademy and tagging us @RIGgaming.
