At Go City, we think that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the best that a city has to offer, but not every experience is readily accessible on a student budget. The cost of living is increasing, as are the prices of books, tuition, and other expenses. For this reason, Go City offers college students who are enrolled in American colleges and universities the option to visit popular New York City attractions for free in addition to a one-time $4,000 academic scholarship grant.

Rewards and Scholarship
The Go City education scholarship recipient will receive:
- 6 1-day passes for you and your family to see more than 100 attractions in New York City
- A one-time award of $4,000 for study-related costs like books and expenditures.
- The award can be used for travel, books, accommodation & board, or tuition. The winner will receive a direct transfer of funds.
- There is a limit of six 1-day passes that may be utilised by several people. One person may purchase six day passes, or two persons may each purchase three day passes. Any day pass may be used on particular days; consecutive days of use are not required.
eligibility criteria
- At the time your submission is submitted, you must be a citizen of the United States, a permanent resident, or be enrolled in a college or university there on a student visa. Each individual is only permitted to submit one entry.
Significant dates
- On September 29, 2023, at 23:59 EST, submit your entry. October 20, 2023, will mark the announcement of the winner.
- The contest shall take place between 12:00 (EST) on May 29, 2023 (the “Opening Date”) and 23:59 (EST) on September 29, 2023 (the “Closing Date”), both dates inclusive.
Application

- Using no more than 280 characters, or the length of a tweet, describe the attractions on our New York Pass website that you are most eager to experience and why.
- Send us an email with your entry at scholarships@gocity.com.
- Give your name, your university or college, and your chosen email address. Please let us know if you would prefer not to be notified about upcoming promotional activity.
- The eligibility of a candidate under the criteria for the scholarship and the calibre of the candidate’s entry as evaluated by the selection committee will determine the winner.
- Go City retains the right to use the winner’s name to promote the contest on our website and social media pages. Please see our whole privacy statement here.
- By participating, you thus represent and warrant that all information provided by you is true, accurate, and current. Go City Group retains the right to examine each participant’s eligibility.
- Go City reserves the right to offer scholarships, and no passes or scholarships will be given out as a result of improper conduct on the part of any participant.
- The recipient will get a 1099 form, and the award is subject to standard U.S. taxation.
