The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Programme for African Youths at the University of Cambridge is happy to announce that applications are currently being accepted for the 2024–2025 academic year. This programme is designed to offer exceptional African students opportunities that are fully funded, allowing them to complete their master’s degrees, develop transformative leadership skills, and actively contribute to climate resilience and sustainability, both in Africa and around the world.

With the exception of certain commercial programmes including the Master of commercial Administration (MBA), Master of Corporate Law (MCL), and Master of Finance (MFin), the scholarship programme at Cambridge spans a wide range of academic fields.
eligibility
- Applicants must be nationals of an African nation, unless they can show a brief absence for study or job with the intention to return or have been displaced. – They should normally reside in an African nation.
- Candidates must be looking to enrol in a Master’s programme at the University of Cambridge that will last up to one year.
Application Method
- The application procedure begins with a course directory application for admission to the University of Cambridge. By the course’s financing deadline, this should be finished.
- The application for funding is incorporated within the application for the course.
- Prospective scholars will be requested to provide an additional statement as part of their application indicating their personal commitment to achieving climate-resilient and sustainable futures for Africa.
