The HerRise MicroGrants 2023 Programme
Since 2017, Women of Colour entrepreneurs have received microgrants from The Yva Jourdan Foundation, Inc. and HerSuiteSpot to help them launch or expand their businesses.
With the aid of our corporate sponsors and donors, the HerRise MicroGrant offers financial support to women of colour who are developing ground-breaking solutions that benefit their community but are frequently unable to get capital for their small business.

Programme Specifics
Grants for small businesses are helpful for funding a specific need. Previous beneficiaries have purchased computers, tools, marketing supplies, software, websites, and other things with their growth grants.
The fastest-growing segment of entrepreneurs are women of colour. But when it comes to expanding our enterprises, we confront the biggest challenges. The HerSuiteSpot charitable organisation, the Yva Jourdan Foundation, gathers money to support women of colour entrepreneurs in getting the coaching, connections, and funding they require to grow their companies.
Eligibility
Women of colour who are entrepreneurs in a variety of sectors are welcome to apply for the HerRise MicroGrants, which each grant $1,000. Your company must be;
- 51% of the owners are black women.
- Currently a US registered vehicle.
- Choose the grant that is right for you if you’re motivated to have a positive effect, regardless of whether you run a small business, founded a nonprofit, are connected to the military, or are a budding creator. Apply right away to join us in igniting change.
