ActionAid is urging swift action to be taken against businesses that threaten the climate, notably those that use fossil fuels and industrial agriculture. They support government spending on just and environmentally friendly initiatives like agroecology and renewable energy.

In keeping with this, ActionAid Nigeria is seeking submissions in written, visual, or audio-visual formats that highlight the effects of climate change and include a call to action for those who are either directly or indirectly responsible. The theme #FundOurFuture should be referenced in entries, which also need to show creativity and connection to the subject. In whatever medium, creativity is encouraged.

- First Runner-Up: N150,000
- Second Runner-Up: N100,000
- Third Runner-Up: N70,000
- Fourth Runner-Up: N50,000
Eligibility
- Open to young, innovative Nigerians; entries must relate to the theme “Fund Our Future” and demonstrate originality and relevance to the subject.
- Your #FundOurFuture post’s social media comments, likes, and shares will be taken into account when making a decision.
Application
- All entries must expressly state how investments by multinational banks in industrial agriculture and fossil fuels worsen climate problems.
- On Facebook, publish your material and tag @actionaid, @actionaidnigeria, and @globalplatforms.
