Register for the #ERN2023 Photo Contest. The goal of the European Researchers’ Night, which was established by the European Commission in 2005, is to demonstrate that science is not boring but, rather, a source of fascinating and intriguing phenomena.

They hope to highlight science, technology, and art in the most inventive way with the #ERN2023 Photo Competition. The widest-ranging discussions, in-depth debates, and inspirational innovations are produced by the most eclectic fusion of concepts, disciplines, and viewpoints. Join the challenge and contribute your ideas, whether you’re a student, teacher, artist, scientist, engineer, designer, or educator!
Theme
The main topic of the European Research’s Night 2022/23 is Science for Everyone – Sustainability and Inclusion, which is also the theme of the INL Photo Award.
Prizes
- The following prizes will be awarded to the three winners:
- First Place: A €300,00 FNAC Gift Card
- 2nd Place: €175.00 in FNAC Gift Cards
- 3rd Place: €75,000 in FNAC Gift Cards
- On September 30, 2023, the chosen pieces will be on exhibition at INL, and every image will be posted online.
Eligibility
- Candidates of any country and age are welcome.
- A maximum of two photos may be submitted per application.
Photographic Entry
- Each candidate may upload up to two high-resolution digital photographs.
- Formal in digital: JPG
- Images should have a resolution of 150 to 300 dpi.
- Files can be up to 5 MB each.
- Name to be used as the Author
Evaluation Standards
The following are the evaluation standards:
- Originality and creativity: 25%
- Content that is informative: 25%
- 25% technical competence
- Visual and artistic impact: 25%
