Amnesty International Justice Fellowship for Young Professionals 2023

Deadline: 17th August 2023 | Amnesty International Justice Fellowship for Young Professionals 2023

Description:

Amnesty International is a global movement of more than 10 million people who campaign for a world where human rights are enjoyed by all. We reach almost every country in the world.

Our aim is simple: an end to human rights abuses. Independent, international and influential, we campaign for justice, fairness, freedom and truth wherever they’re denied. And whether we’re applying pressure through powerful research or direct lobbying, mass demonstrations or online campaigning, we’re all inspired by hope for a better world. One where human rights are respected and protected by everyone, everywhere.

International Justice in Africa Fellowship (2022-2023), announces its second edition. The Fellowship seeks to enhance diversity of representation in the field of international justice by offering an opportunity to young African professionals (early to mid-career practitioners and scholars) based in Africa to work on international justice issues and mechanisms. Fellows benefit from knowledge, skills and experience transfer, practical exposure to international justice spaces and forums, and the opportunity to engage and network with a variety of relevant actors and stakeholders in the international justice movement. Fellows also participate in discrete research, legal analysis, policy discourse and campaigning projects relating to international justice.

We are recruiting for two positions.
