A major worldwide honor, the Future for Nature Award, recognizes accomplishments in the field of wild species protection. According to The Future for Nature,
Individuals should receive praise and funding for their great work protecting wild animals.
Encourage the recipients of awards to continue their hard work.
Encourage prizewinners to become more well-known, grow their professional networks, and solidify their funding sources.
Award
The coveted FFN Award and €50,000 are given to each recipient. Since they are the ones who know where the money is most needed, the winners are free to use it anyway they see fit in the name of nature protection. Furthermore, Future For Nature provides much more than sporadic financial assistance.
