A project to encourage young Nigerians to become entrepreneurs is called the PowerUp program. It has been determined that one of the main factors contributing to youth unemployment in Nigeria is the significant skills gap that exists among young people today. As a result, it is challenging for young people to find respectable employment and establish successful businesses, necessitating the need for job creation and entrepreneurship programs like PowerUp to give young people the tools they need to establish and expand successful businesses. The curriculum is divided into multiple parts for optimum impact, including:
- Webinar/Masterclass on PowerUP
- PowerUP Pitch and Demo Day Training
- Access Corporation is the program’s sponsor, while NerdzFactory Foundation is in charge of its entire implementation.

Application
The course will include both physical and virtual training methods. The program will last for two weeks, from Monday, July 10, 2023, through Friday, July 21, 2023, and will consist of a series of weekly masterclasses. Virtual lessons will take place on Zoom, with physical classes taking place at NerdzFactory HQ in Ogudu GRA, Lagos.
