2023 Pratt & Whitney E-STEM Awards (prize: $50,000)

Deadline: the 28th of June 2023 | 2023 Pratt & Whitney E-STEM Awards (prize: $50,000)

The Pratt & Whitney E-STEM Awards 2023 application period is currently open. Through two financing options—E-STEM Prizes and E-STEM Grants—the Pratt & Whitney E-STEM Awards help promising E-STEM initiatives around the world create STEM skills, environmental knowledge, and career pathways. E-STEM Grants help and improve new programs while E-STEM Prizes honor achievement in programs that have been around for a while.

Science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) are all integrated into the E-STEM program to engage students in meaningful, real-world environmental problem-solving. E-STEM is a teaching concept that not only encourages interdisciplinary learning but also motivates students to use what they have learned to address challenging environmental problems.

They are especially interested in supporting applicant groups that work with underserved audiences in STEM fields, employ partnerships to increase their effect, and encourage students (ages 11 to 22) to take action on climate change solutions, sustainable energy, or sustainable aviation.
