Due to the world’s expanding population, both the demand for food and the environmental impact of agriculture are rising. The way we create, distribute, and handle food waste may be completely altered by new technology in the food industry. African startups with an innovative spirit are encouraged to take the plunge and develop solutions for the future. The finest businesses will be selected for Katapult’s Africa Accelerator Program, which will equip them with the resources, contacts, and funding (a 150,000 USD investment) necessary for success. Katapult wants to help bring about a radical, structural change in the food chain along with our partners.

Climate Katapult Accelerator
Our innovative accelerator program combines €150,000–500,000 in investments with 90 days of intense seminars, networking opportunities, and learning opportunities. We welcome founders from all around the world, and we fund firms that are tackling climate change in the areas of food, transportation, energy, natural resources, infrastructure, and uncharted territory. Our curriculum is meant to provide structure, assist you raise your next round, and guide entrepreneurs through challenging entrepreneurial difficulties.
Ocean Katapult Accelerator
Our acclaimed accelerator program includes €150,000–500,000 in investments with 90 days of intense seminars, networking opportunities, and learning opportunities. We welcome founders from around the globe, and we fund maritime startups that are involved in the food, transportation, energy, natural resources, infrastructure, and new frontiers. Our curriculum is meant to provide structure, assist you raise your next round, and guide entrepreneurs through challenging entrepreneurial difficulties.

In what stages and what kinds of businesses do you invest?
We make investments in early-stage firms with a demonstrated product-market fit, some level of validation, and plans to expand outside their home nation of origin. We make investments in tech firms that reduce their carbon footprint. Under Ocean and Climate, you may read more about the domains we explicitly search for.

- To be considered for prospective investments and accelerator programs offered by Katapult, kindly fill out this brief application form.
- The average time spent by users filling out this form is 16 minutes. We only need to be aware of the essentials, so keep it simple and straightforward! Using this data, we will choose startups that meet our investment criteria and invite them for a video interview.
- With a heavy emphasis on ocean-, climate-, and food-tech solutions, Katapult will invest in and accelerate 40–45 impact businesses in 2023. Depending on the situation, we will invest €150k to €500k upfront and use our 3-month specialized accelerator programs to assist every firm we fund scale.
