Youth to Work teams in Uganda, Zambia, and Ghana deliver the program, which is created to empower outstanding young professionals and Small and Growing Businesses (SGBs) and spur good change for both young people and businesses.

Eligibility requirements

  • Be between the ages of 21 and 30, or 21 and 35 for people with disabilities.
  • possess an understanding of business and finance as evidenced by prior employment or possession of an appropriate degree from a university
  • Relevant work experience, such as volunteer work and past internships.
  • good problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication abilities
  • interest in entrepreneurship, small company growth, and businesses
  • Traveling ability for training and employment
  • Must be capable of dedicating two weeks of pre-placement training and be able to commit to the placement full-time.
