The fellowship honors students who excel in the academic fields of environmental sustainability, global health, social justice, and global citizenship. Flywire is increasing the amount of scholarships it provides to international students through The Flywire Charitable Foundation by two this year, bringing the total to 16.

Categories
The following academic fields are open to applicants for the 2023 Flywire Charitable Foundation scholarships:
Justice for All
- Students who are enthusiastic in addressing structural injustices and advancing social justice are recognized with the Social Justice Scholarship. The demand for serious social justice reform has only grown as social justice concerns, such as policing, anti-LGBTQ+ legislation, religious persecution, sexism, racism, and sexual violence, continue to dominate the news. Future leaders who are dedicated to ending racism, violence, structural prejudices, and other acts of intolerance will be given these scholarships.
World Health
Students who are committed to advancing health and wellbeing on a global scale are recognized by the Global Health Scholarship. The program seeks to assist students who are committed to reducing health disparities and enhancing access to healthcare in underserved areas. The scholarship winners are expected to use their education and professional expertise to improve global health initiatives and increase healthcare equity. In order to address global health concerns and create creative solutions to enhance health outcomes all around the world, they can also be expected to participate in research and advocacy.
Worldwide citizenship
The Global Citizenship Scholarship honors students who are dedicated to advancing cultural awareness and global citizenship. As international conflicts have intensified, it is more crucial than ever to elevate humanity when tackling problems related to social, political, and economic issues. Students who endeavor to dismantle cultural barriers and develop respect and understanding between people of different backgrounds in their communities and around the world will be given scholarships in this category.
Sustainability in the Environment
Students that fight to preserve the environment and pioneer sustainability ideas are honored with the Environmental Sustainability Scholarship. A healthy planet is one of the most important resources we have, yet the persistent dangers to environmental health continue to jeopardize our way of life. Students that are actively trying to lessen the environmental effects of human-made activities and preserve Earth’s natural resources for all future generations will be given scholarships in this category.
Scholarship
- There will be a total of sixteen $5,000 USD scholarships given out for the 2023 school year.
Eligibility
- Students in all majors who are undergraduates are eligible for the awards.
- The applicant must be registered for the Fall 2023 semester. Money cannot be held back for a later date.
- One of the four scholarship categories is the only one that each student may apply for.
- Candidates may be citizens of any nation, but they must be enrolled in a school in one of the nations below.
