Deadline: Varying | 14 United Nations Professional Job Openings/Vacancies with UNEP

NOW IS A GREAT TIME TO APPLY FOR JOB POSITIONS!
A number of recent updates to inspira have been made to improve the application process and the evaluation process, and the Office of Human Resources (OHR) in the Department of Management Strategy, Policy and Compliance (DMSPC) and the Office of Support Operations (OSO) in the Department of Operational Support (DOS) are happy to announce them.

To make the application procedure easier to use and more logical, it has been re-organized.

  • The application process has been simplified. For instance, it is no longer necessary for applicants to specify their preferred work locations and duty locations.
  • Candidates can now explain what specifically inspired them to apply for a given position.
  • The application process includes comprehensive instructions in the sections on the employment prerequisites, education, work experience, and motivation statement.
  • These brief diplomas or certificates are only listed by applicants when they are specified as job requirements.
  • The summary of duties area in the work experience part has been set up to accept up to 1,000 characters, allowing candidates to immediately highlight the crucial facets of their current and prior positions.

  • You need to start by making a user profile (My Profile).
  • Your name, nationality, contact information, and marital status are all listed in My Profile. Anytime you make changes to My Profile, such as changing your phone number or family status, the information is immediately reflected on all previously submitted job applications.
  • You can generate one or more job applications after you register and finish My Profile.
  • The application form is the section of your application that contains details about your training, language proficiency, current and previous employment, etc.
  • Resumes with attachments are not accepted.
  • By selecting Create Draft Application, you can begin creating an application form without immediately applying for a job.
  • After entering the information, click Save to store it without submitting it.
  • Without immediately applying for a job, you can prepare, access, amend, and save one or more application forms that are fully or partially filled out.
  • Before leaving the page, it is advised to click Save after each part.
  • Be careful that the session expires if nothing is done for 60 minutes.

Once you’ve found a position that interests you, you should update your application to include your motivation statement, answers to the Job Requirements questions, and any other pertinent information that is pertinent to the position you’re applying for. Submitting an application for a job

  • click Add job to application if you want to apply for a specific position.

You may submit your application by clicking Submit once it has been completed.

A résumé is not accepted as an attachment by the UN and is neither regarded as a replacement for nor an addition to a completed online application.

You will be asked to provide any extra information or paperwork that is needed during the application process.

If your job application was submitted successfully, you will soon get an automated email acknowledgment. Additionally, keep in mind that once an application has been submitted, it cannot be changed for that particular position.
