Deadline for Applications: July 31, 2023 | Young South Africans’ Access to the Jones & Wagener Undergraduate Bursary Programme 2023 for Engineering Studies in South Africa

For South African BEng/BSc Civil Engineering, Geology, Geochemistry, and Environmental students enrolled in South African universities, Jones & Wagener is glad to offer a small number of bursaries.

The bursaries will at the very least pay for college tuition, but they may also cover some travel expenses and a small number of textbooks.

Applications are being accepted from current tertiary students in South Africa and Grade 12 pupils. The awarding of bursaries will be done in accordance with academic excellence, financial necessity, and company-specific factors. Less than 75% in both math and physics is required for applicants to be considered. Since Jones & Wagener is mandated to promote Black Economic Empowerment, scholarships will often be given out in accordance with the demographics of South Africa.

During the July and/or December breaks, students receiving Jones & Wagener bursaries may be expected to work (six weeks of paid vacation time) in our offices in Rivonia or Centurion. Bursary recipients must work for Jones & Wagener for the same amount of time as the bursary was awarded after completing their studies.
