The ygap South Africa Accelerator Programme assists businesses in developing and validating their business models, advancing toward financial sustainability, and expanding their social impact. The ygap South Africa Accelerator Programme will improve your capacity to raise money, generate employment possibilities, attract more investment, and significantly impact the areas in which you operate.

The ventures that have been selected for the ygap Accelerator Programme will have:
- An established and supported Theory of Change
- A defined value proposition for important consumer categories and evidence of product-market fit
- a tested business plan that demonstrates the viability, desirability, and sustainability of the venture
- Financial accounts in great detail, including cash flow and income statements
- shown by statistics across key KPIs, proven growing traction
- a feasible 12-month growth strategy with a detailed action plan, quarterly goals, and predictions
- They anticipate that businesses who successfully complete the ygap Acceleration Programme would boost their earnings, generate new employment possibilities, and attract further funding, significantly improving the areas in which they operate.
Eligibility
Open to;
- ventures that are active in the agricultural sector. They especially support Black and female-owned enterprises engaged in livelihood, food security, or environmental sustainability projects.
- Post-revenue ventures that can demonstrate evidence of business transactions.
- Businesses that sincerely appreciate and recognize the advantages and worth of taking part in the YGAP program. Ygap makes significant financial investments in the projects they back, and participants are expected to put just as much effort and money into the Ygap program.
- businesses with a social or environmental mission. Ventures must be trying to improve their neighborhood, city, or nation through the functioning of their firm.
- Businesses that are “local” to the problem they are addressing, deeply rooted in their community, fervently devoted, and in it for the long run.
- ventures that have already begun and are now running. Participating initiatives often need to be officially registered, and documentation of this need will be needed (unless this is not applicable to where your business runs).
