The ABGHI Global Health Innovation Challenge 2023 is now accepting applications. The AB Global Health Initiative will find and encourage creative solutions through this Challenge to considerably better – and frequently save – the lives of vulnerable people by learning from the experiences of affected communities.

Participants are invited to submit their inventions to a panel of judges made up of specialists in global health, international development, improving health systems, and innovation each year after an open call for proposals. These initiatives, plans, and concepts ought to be affordable, highly effective, long-lasting, and scalable. All applicants will join the innovation hub and gain access to peer networking and mentoring opportunities.

 

 

A non-profit organization called the AB Global Health Initiative (ABGHI) is dedicated to enhancing global health through community initiatives, educational courses, and creative ways to boost the capacities of community health systems.

 

Benefits

 

Every year, two projects are chosen among the applicants who compete for grants and are awarded up to 1,000,000 Naira in money for implementation, special mentoring, and publicity possibilities.

 

Eligibility

 

 

·      Students from any higher education institution in Nigeria who have a background in health-related or multidisciplinary fields will participate. Young professionals in their early careers are encouraged to apply.

·      The age range for participants should be 18 to 30.

·      They strongly urge women and individuals with disabilities to apply.

·      The competition is only open to health-related topics directly connected to neighborhood improvement.

 

Application

 

·      Concept notes outlining the essential elements of prospective candidates’ initiatives or innovations are requested.

·      Project proposals that will be implemented during a one-year starting term might be submitted either individually or in groups (maximum of 4). You are need to send resumes as well.

·      Explain in your concept notes how this idea will be scalable and sustainable after it is put into action.
