Young feminism activists are needed for the Adolescent Girls Advisory Council (AGAC), which is run by the Global Fund for Women. A future where movements for gender justice have turned power and privilege for a select few into equity and equality for all is what the Global Fund for Women envisions.
When it comes to locating, supporting, and amplifying girl-led organizations and fostering their growth in leadership, activism, and movement-building, the Adolescent Girls Advisory Council (AGAC) is indispensable. Being true to our values of shifting power means cooperating with AGAC in a participatory grantmaking process.

Requirements
Below are the requirements. Are You:
· Coming from the following areas:
Southeast Asia, Central Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, the Middle East, North Africa, or Sub-Saharan Africa?
· ten to seventeen?
· a young feminist who is proficient in written and spoken English?
· An asset is having knowledge of one or more of the following languages: Russian, Arabic, Spanish, or French
· Dedicated to achieving social justice?
· Are you prepared to speak up and take action to effect change?
· A young feminist who thinks that everyone should be treated fairly and equally, that girls’ and women’s rights important, and that they should be recognized and upheld?
· Are you prepared to serve on the Adolescent Girls Advisory Council for at least two years?
· Your opinions and voice matter as a member of the Adolescent Girls Advisory Council.
In order to give adolescent girls all across the world the assistance they require to become leaders and agents of change, Global Fund for Women wants to hear from you. Together, we can achieve this.
· You can anticipate to:
Share your knowledge of girls and the area: Share your expertise, wisdom, and counsel on issues affecting girls and the area you represent.
· co-create the program on adolescent girls’ rights Give suggestions and ideas to the Adolescent Girls’ Rights team so they may help create the program’s objective, top goals, and metrics for measuring improvement.
· Girl-led organizations on a map Identify organizations and projects run by women that want assistance, whether it be financial, technical, or other kind.
· Participate in the grantmaking process for the Global Fund for Women: Along with Global Fund for Women employees, read bids and reports, discuss, and offer suggestions for organizations to fund.
· Attend important meetings: Take part in significant gatherings and occasions to ensure that girls’ voices are heard.
· Work with the employees and partners of the Global Fund for Women to promote gender justice and cross-generational leadership.
· Become a member of the AGAC network of young feminist leaders.
Application Method
· Twelve girls who exemplify the ideals of the Global Fund for Women—bold, collaborative, inquiring, and authentic—will make up the Adolescent Girls Advisory Council.
· There will be two rounds of selection.
· Selection Procedure in Two Stages
· First Round: Female applicants must be between the ages of 10 and 17 and may be cis, transgender, or gender non-conforming.
The deadline for applications is February 20, 2023.
· Second Phase: The Global Fund for Women will identify the girls who will advance to the second round, which will involve an interview panel, in February 2023.
